First three days of course designed for persons responsible for inspecting facilities for lead-based paint, & lead containing soil, dust or water. Covers OSHA, HUD, EPA & local regulations. Indepth coverage of sampling methods. Participate in eight hours of workshops on testing lead-based paint with XRF, chemical and bulk sampling and workshops on soil, dust & water sampling.

Last two days of course designed for persons responsible for inspecting facilities for lead-based paint, & lead containing soil, dust or water to determine where a lead risk exists. Emphasizes dust & soil sampling protocols, covers recommendations for abatement or interim controls and follow-up inspection intervals. Eight hours of hands-on training including site visits.
